• As you climb what you believed to be a step pyramid, a voice booms out to you, shaking the stone beneath you: “LITTLE COURSER.” You realize you are standing on a pair of knees, and above you, a benevolent face in the rock appears to smile. He asks you a question you don’t exactly understand: “WHERE IS YOUR KNIGHT?”

EARLIER IN THE DAY...

The red roan had gone into the dungeons without Czar this time, leaving him resting peacefully on the surface as she went into the mossy underground caverns with her Osprey companion, Skylar. Even though she did not mind the little black Courser's company, sometimes Winona did want to just be a lone Courser during one of her dives. It did make a change to have a flying companion that could scout out for any danger up ahead with it's much better eyesight than Winona's. It could even pick up anything small and of potential interest that was out of her reach! This was looking to be a dive without any sort of unusual encounters.

AND TO THE CURRENT MOMENT IN TIME...

Winona would pause to ponder upon those words. What was a 'knight'? The only thing similar sounding the roan giant knew was that of the night time itself, but no...that can't have been right. It would not make sense in such a question. Tilting her head up at the giant rock-like being with a confused but intriqued look in her eyes, a rare expression that wasn't stoic and unreadable. The friendly being infront of her seemed to accept her silence as an answer of unknowing confusion before retreating back to probably a long slumber once more. Yet, she still was thinking about the question, only snapped out of deep thought as Skylar perched on her head to get her attention back. She would shrug it off for the time being and trot away to carry on with her dungeon diving for another hour.

The roan would return before Czar would ever rise from his small rest, laying right next to him with careful movement as to not wake him. Her Osprey would roost on her back. Winona wasn't tired, with that question still on her mind. Would she ever know what a 'knight' is? Does she care enough to know?
