(Continuation from A Step Into A New World)

After traveling through the dungeon with Crispin the silence was music to his ears. The injured little bird flopped down on his back as it fell asleep. Cadavers ears were perked up as Crispin began to mutter to himself again and came to a stop. In the distance there was movement… very subtle but it was noticeable enough for both of them to come to a halt and inspect. 

 

Upon further inspection the object that had caught their attention had slowly made its way closer. Crispin pulled out his sword and stood guard while Cadaver stared at the object, not feeling an immediate thread from the object. As it came closer to the light, a green pile of slime approached them. It looked up at them and blinked its single eye at them. Cadaver stared blankly as he could hear Crispin make a sound of disgust beside him. The stallion turned his head slightly to the side as he inspected the strange blob “Is it dangerous?” he asked but did not dare to take his eyes off of it. 

 

Crispen laughed “No, it’s harmless. It cleans the dungeons from waste” he said. 

 

Cadaver let out a small ‘hm’ sound at the green smile before it seemed to have gotten scared by Crispin's snorting laugh in the background as it scurried away.

 

Crispin swooshed his tail in Cadaver’s face and ushered him to follow through the dungeons. It seemed that they were far from finding the exit and they had barely ventured into the first level. Cadaver let out a heavy sigh and followed after Crispin as he zoned out and began to think of a possible name for the Osprey.
