[DD1] Horse is fast, but goose is faster!
Hunter walks into a strange structure; with massive beams and many archways holding up the ceiling. At first, Hunger was confused, until he stepped into the water gathered at the bottom.
Hunter raised an eyebrow. The water was so deep that it came to his ankle. What would be the use of this? Instead of cobblestone and moss, there were stone bricks lining the walls, with engravings and carvings lining the walls and archways.
Hunter looked around, finding the place quite odd. “Hello?” He called, with Noctus watching around the area from the comfort of Hunter’s back. “…Weird.” Hunter heard a honk, which made him turn. “What the-?”
A large white goose swam in the abandoned reservoir, its little white tail wiggling as it ducked into the water, looking for food. Hunter snorted. “You won’t to find anything here. It’s empty water.” The goose came up, holding something in its beak. It didn’t look like a stick or fish, but a silver medallion. “Oh, I guess it’s not that empty.”
Noctus cocked his head curiously at the other bird. Even Noctus recognized how weird it was the goose was down there. Geese usually stayed above ground, after all, where the sun was high and the waters were nice and warm. Down here, the water was so cold; hard to imagine why it seemed so happy in this chilly place.
Hunter leaned in to sniff at the object, which flashed when Hunter’s nose touched it. The stallion jumped back with a yelp, though his muscles felt stronger somehow? Hunter didn’t dwell on it, as the goose watched him run away screaming back into the tunnels. The goose blinked, but rushed after him, honking, after the medallion had disappeared in the spooky flash of light. Even Noctus fled in shock, his wings fluttering and flapping frantically to keep up with his owner.
