Boken was thrilled to receive Terrence as his mercenary for the contract he picked up. He had heard so much of the smoky black stallion and word seemed to travel quickly in the dungeon, so Boken took the opportunity as soon as possible to traverse the magna filled caverns with him.

The two adventurers seemed to be quite the pair with their boisterous personalities and loud mouths. Conversations between the two stallions seemed more like a competition than casual banter. Both trying to one up eachother with experiences and personal achievements. Boken did not really have much compared to what Terrence had completed. The smoky black stallion was a very talented mercenary, and Boken had only recently gotten the call of the dungeon, so he was pretty new to all of this. But. He did have one thing over Terrence, his past life.

"What do you mean you used to be a unicorn?"

"Do you not see my forehead? It's a clear sign of who I used to be."

Boken responded with a huff.

"I think that is a bit of a reach."

A scoff could be heard as Terrence replied to the palomino's bold claim.

Boken opened his mouth to defend himself but was quickly hushed by Terrence.

"Listen."

Boken, for once, did as he was told and flicked his ears forward to better soak in the sounds. Besides the creaking of the earth and the bubbling magma, a faint beating could be heard against the furnace walls and it was definitely piquing Boken's curiosity.

"The forge."

Terrence said with a proud grin, almost as if the forge belonged to him. Boken had heard of the forge and the weapons that came from it. Weapons weren't something that particularly interested in, he preferred to fight battles with wits, knowledge, and words. Strength wasn't exactly his forte, but the palomino loved to learn, so he listened to everything Terrence had to say about this powerful forge.
