[EASY] One After Another
The party managed to dash out of the dank crypt, running until they couldn’t hear the splash and rumble of whatever godforsaken beast was behind them. They all wandered into a random hall, leaning against the walls to catch their breath.
Chant’s legs wobbled as he slowly slid to rest on the floor for the moment, a tired huff escaping through his nostrils. “This feels more like a haunting than an actual expedition.” He grunts, resting his chin on the cold, damp floor.
Arthur nearly collapsed there with him, hanging his head low as his body pressed into the wall. He might have laid down if he knew he would be able to get back up, but running through water made him feel like he ran around the entire dungeon. “Does anyone perhaps know how to sneak past a giant water beast?”
Chant’s ears laid back and he sneered weakly at the other. “I am not going back there, but you’re welcome to if you think the reward is so grand.”
Reverend watched the two stallions tiredly bicker before rolling his eyes. After a bit of resting, he pushed himself off the wall, lightly digging his hoof into the floor. “We shouldn’t rest here so long. We need to keep moving.” His ears perked forward. “Either we can go back down that crypt or head down the stairs ahead.”
As Hellish opened his mouth to speak up, the party suddenly felt a rush of ice-cold air blast against them. The laying party quickly rushed onto their feet, panic rushing through them when their torches blew out.
Without being able to see, the party moved to push their bodies together while a low rumble vibrated the floor and walls. Arthur let out a small yelp, rushing backwards as the floor in front of him slid out from under his front hooves. “Hells—the floor!” He yelled.
