[MEDIUM] Door Trouble
Mantis invited by Eldgren for adventure,
They brought co-parent, Vakarine, for the venture,
Going to Mantis's dad their child to him entrust.
Then off they were to a bench all covered in dust.
As tale began, so did an infatuation,
What Vakarine saw, started the cementation
Of a love that would blossom beautiful one day.
For now though, she was too shy, unable to say
What she admired most about Eldregn due to sight
For she saw the soul. Shyly looked, radiant light
Seemed to illuminate Eldregn, elevating
Her looks to a goddess, very fascinating.
Mosiac bounded forward, led forward the way,
As a warm smile upon Mantis's face did so stay.
They were so glad they had thought to so introduce,
Now Vakarine would need a chance for an excuse
To talk to her crush. But despite all her magic,
Vakarine imagined it an outcome tragic
If she did ever decide to Eldregn confess.
How she could try some flirting, she had not a guess.
Oblivious to the tension between the two,
Mosiac looked all excitement as they cut through
The tunnels of this old dungeon while she did lead.
Their pets were nearby, Gizmo on Eldregn did knead,
Mantis's moth rested quietly on their long mane,
As they watched the pair, a grin they had to refrain.
Meanwhile Vakarine's familiar did follow them
Hidden from worries the new two would so condemn.
Witch distracted, unable to coax her odd pet
Hopped after from afar, the mimic did fret.
Soon the whole party though entered a larger cave.
"Is that treasure?" Mosiac exclaimed with a crave
For an adventure. She rifled through the clutter,
Vakarine tried finding words without a stutter
(But she wouldn't manage that at this moment yet).
Mimic bounced closer, shy, ever a loyal pet,
Vakarine saw it approach and she found her voice.
"This is Mimi, by the way," she spoke (so rejoice!).
Somehow she did managed to seem all calm and mild
When inside she could feel her heartbeat going wild.
"What a cute name!" Eldregn smiled right at Vakarine
As she spoke, Vakarine's heart skipped a beat within.
Suddenly, though, the stone did shift, moving ways out,
"Oops?" Mosiac, embarassed, spoke with a slight pout.
There'd been a concealed lever that ended up tripped,
As she'd leaned forward to look at paper's old script.
"I think I have a guess where to go," Mantis spoke.
They hoped there were no more traps still here to provoke.
Very excited for this campaign!!!
