Soft grass rolled in the wind as two Coursers emerged from the cavern entrance of the Dungeon. It was cloudy, the temperature was near low, and the wind was heavy. Tse’a shook off their mane, glancing behind them to see how Daybreak was holding up. The Heraldic just nodded their head, trotting past them. Tse’a smiled, trotting after.

     They were headed home. Back to their respective homes, at least. They both had to go the same direction, so Tse’a was thankful to at least have company. It seemed like Daybreak was too, the Heraldic was walking slow to accommodate for Tse’a’s slower pace. The two quietly chatted, enjoying the nice breeze on their hides and the nature around them. Stopping to eat fruit from brushes, enjoy the nice cool water of a creek.

     The two slowed towards a crossroads. They had different paths to go from here, and Tse’a was sad to see it. He glanced towards Daybreak, who seemed just as disappointed. He took a step forward to brush his face against Daybreak’s, who returned the favor with a soft neighing. Tse’a pulled back and smiled, turning to trot away. Perhaps they would meet again, deep in the Dungeons, prepared to explore. He’d like that.
