Soma, along with his brother Seif were twins born into the noble house of Alivord, one of the few distinguished names that helped govern and lead the equines of their reigion. Most coursers in this reigion as well as outside of it, were void of "two part" names, instead typically only called by one name with the addition of perhaps a title of sort. So the honor of having a second name became a tradition. A name of status and one that declares ones "house" of origin, often belonged to those born of a distingished bloodline. 

Soma Is a young courser who has finally come of age and proved himself worthy to enter the dungeons after enduring and persevering through intensive training. His brother is not too far behind in this endeavor, eager and determined to keep up with his headstrong counterpart and keep him safe- but Soma is eager to get a head start and is quickly off for the dunegons as soon as he is able.

He is a young upstart, a stallion who has always dreamed of walking home sporting new discoveries fastened to his back or carried pulled in a carriage behind him while he makes his way through the towns. Memories of heros he's seen rewarded for their bravery and findings, fawned over by the noblemen and citizens alike like hes seen while he was a mere foal, sparks that grew into a flame of desire, a want to be just like that one day. Now finally after years of preparing and waiting, hes ready to dip his hooves into the water and experience the noble heroics of the Dungeon Coursers himself, and one day hopefully become the hero of his dreams.
